About Me
I am Bahar Tekli Gürgen, I completed my undergraduate education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry between 2011-2016. In 2018, I started my specialty education as a research assistant at Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics.
In 2021, I completed my education with my thesis titled “Evaluation of the effect of different surface treatments on the bonding strength of dental ceramics and PEKK” and received the title of “Prosthodontist”. During my academic career, I continued my academic and treatment studies. I participated in many congresses in Turkey and abroad and contributed to these congresses with oral presentations. I also have 5 academic publications and book chapter authorship on robotic applications in dentistry, digital intraoral records and bonding strength of dental ceramic materials published in national and international scientific journals.
Among my professional expertise areas, I have followed and treated many cases on aesthetic dentistry, porcelain laminate, digital smile design, implant-supported fixed and removable prostheses, tooth clenching and joint disorders.
I now serve my patients as a specialist dentist in Istanbul. My goal is to provide high-quality dental treatments by focusing on various specialties and leveraging the latest technologies offered by modern medicine.
I care about sharing my experience in various specialities such as implantology, aesthetic dentistry, periodontology, endodontics, orthodontics and paediatric dentistry with my patients and the precision of applying the necessary treatment. By carefully planning each treatment, I offer solutions tailored to the needs of each of my patients. I have also specialised in digital smile design to reshape my patients' smiles.
What do I offer to my patients?
For each of my patients, we plan their smiles perfectly together with personalised smile design drawings that are compatible with the golden ratio. Thanks to the mock-ups made in advance, I show this design clearly before starting the treatment of my patients. Thus, by planning each step in advance, I aim to make the treatment process of my patients safer and more satisfying.
While taking care to provide the highest level of service to my patients by using the latest technology devices, I also pay special attention to gingival aesthetics with the diode laser technology I use in my treatments. Thanks to this technology, I ensure that my patients achieve a healthier and more aesthetic smile by treating gum problems with minimally invasive methods.
Furthermore, we offer our patients more comfortable and faster solutions thanks to the measurements taken with a digital intraoral camera. Compared to traditional impression taking methods, this technology allows us to achieve more accurate and precise results while prioritizing the comfort of our patients. In this way, the treatment process of our patients progresses more effectively and they can achieve the aesthetic results they want in a shorter time.
